Where it all began...

Hope 4 Life was founded in 2014 by Cheri Britt and Louantha Kerr to minister to
women with unplanned pregnancies. Instead of competing with other pregnancy help centers, or duplicating their efforts, we chose to address the needs of an underserved population: women at the point of obtaining an abortion.

In June 2015, we hired our first ultrasound tech and began offering free ultrasounds and pregnancy tests aboard our mobile unit. We began with
one paid staff member and 10 volunteers, performing ultrasounds one day per
week.

We continued to expand our services and soon we were distributing more than
15,000 diapers per year, along with food, furniture, baby goods, and financial
support for urgent survival needs. We also began offering ultrasounds five days a
week at three locations. We recruited more employees and volunteers, and at
present we have four paid part-time staff and more than 35 volunteers.

As long a there are mothers in need and babies at risk, we intend to offer our
comprehensive life affirming services.
